Opting for a diploma is good after 10th or 12th

The three turning points in the course of education are passing std. X, followed by Std. XII and Graduation. There were times when people gave a lot of importance to graduation. However, graduation implies an additional three years. Moreover, graduation cannot be an end point; for real good jobs, specialization is necessary. Specialization means another two years of Post-graduation course. This meant that students could not start earning before spending 4 to 5 years after matriculation. There is a vast range of options for specialization in subjects after Std. X or XII. It is advisable to choose a subject that is different.
